Djiin - The Mizukage
Name: Djiin
Appearance: Djiin usually wears an all black Kimono with japanese socks and sandals and not the typical shinobi attire. Around his neck is a white scarf that is very expensive. So expensive that its value can buy three houses. His hair is black and reaches to the middle of his back and is always tied in a pony tail. Over the black Kimono is another blue one draped over his frame. He carries his sword with him at all times. Around his waist, is a white sash where he places his sword within his confines.
Height: 5' 10''
Weight: 180 lbs
Alias: The Mizukage
Rank: Kage
Village: Kirigakure no sato
Clan: Djiin
History: Djiin had a very difficult past and steeped into a lot of mystery. He was found by a family in a basket at the edge of a river close to the sea. It so happened that were a family of priests and they were responsible for exorcisms of demons from people. When Djinn was brought home even as a baby, he was exhibiting powers of the clan of his origin. It placed his adoptive parents in a bind as it were since anyone seeing the child glowing or suddenly become light and appear somewhere else would think he is indeed a demon; the said thing that they were responsible of eradicating. But strange enough his abilities were, they did not view him as a demon and protected his existence any way they could have from everyone else but that was only possible for a time. At the age of six, Djiin came outside and started to play with some young children his age. When they saw which compound he came from, their parents told them not to play with the boy from there since he was of a higher class than they were. But not even the parents knew why the boy as kept hidden in the demon hunter compound. As he played, his light came forth and accidentally burned all of the children about their bodies. His adoptive parents hid him away even more and kept him within their compound because abilities such as his were banned by the central government. Not wanting to risk his life any further, his family sent him with their most trusted friend. One of the few shinobi that fled Kirigakure and went into self exile took the young Djiin and trained him in the art of being a shinobi.
As he grew his teacher got to understand his abilities and so did he of course. The mentor gave him the name Djiin because of his unique power of transforming into a being of light. It as appropriate and Djiin himself accepted the name gladly. His mentor taught him what was the role of shinobi in the world and longed for the order to be re-established. The young Djiin had years to ponder on the things that his mentor taught him and day after day his mind was shaped into what it is now. Djiin, now a master of his clan, returned to his life of luxury with his family. His appearance totally changed no one ever thought it was the child that many people feared earlier in life. Now that he had full control over his abilities, and he was much more powerful than before, Djiin saw the world differently. He saw that there was a need for shinobi in this world and so worked towards the goal of making them come forth to forge a new Kirigakure.
And so, he joined the said military that he wanted to take down. There he found those that shared his ideals and dreams and it was these that he chose to break away with him from the military and reforge the Kirigakure shinobi once again. With his own forces amassing, the world is once again about to change. The new age of shinobi has started.
Personality: As the Head of the village of Kirigakure, Djiin acts in an aristocratic manner. He always seems serene and apathetic towards other people, even while actually deeply conflicted. He is notably calm, even in battle. He generally acts indifferent, bordering on arrogance, to most situations he is faced with, and rarely views his opponent as being worth his time. Djiin is very perceptive, fully aware of the limits of his abilities, and anything he states in comparison to an opponent is usually justified. Despite consistently stating himself to be far stronger than opponents Djiin retains a formal tone, always using "watashi" which is a formal way of referring to oneself. When he was younger, he was quick to anger and very hot-headed, as noted by his mentor.
Djiin strongly believes in law and order. As the Mizukage, he works hard for a peaceful society. He feels that if someone in his position does not follow the rules as a good example, no one else will. He believes that to maintain the order, all law-breakers must be punished, even if it goes against his own wishes. Djiin feels that "part of a kage's responsibilities is to make sure that the shinobi that are under him responsibilities are taken care of". In spite of his icy and regal manner, Djiin cares for and protects those important to him.
